Meet Zara – Our Onsite Manager at Pouncing Panthers

Zara joined the Pouncing Panthers family in October 2023, and since then she’s been bringing energy, laughter, and a whole lot of sunshine to everything she does!

With over 16 years of experience in childcare, Zara has worked across a variety of settings, including nurseries, pre-schools, and a Montessori nursery where she spent more than five years. She’s truly worked her way up — starting as a Childcare Assistant, progressing to Room Leader, and now proudly leading the team as our Onsite Manager.

Zara is a true social butterfly with endless energy! She creates a fun, rewarding, and nurturing environment where children feel confident, supported, and excited to learn. Whether she’s leading activities, helping children build friendships, or encouraging them to try something new, Zara loves watching children grow and blossom into their own little personalities.

When she’s not busy planning exciting adventures for our little Panthers, Zara loves spending time with her family and going on mini adventures with her young son. She’s a big fan of dancing and brings that passion into the setting by teaching the children Zumba. You’ll also find her leading outdoor adventures such as muddy walks, pond dipping, and beach trips, helping children explore and connect with nature.

Qualifications & Roles:

• Level 3 Diploma in Childcare (Early Years Qualified)
• Level 3 Safeguarding Certificate
• Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL)
• Level 3 First Aid Qualified – our onsite first aider

Zara brings so much fun, joy, and positivity to Pouncing Panthers, giving children the freedom to explore, create, and make memories in a safe and supportive environment. She’s truly a caring soul who leads with heart.

• She used to be part of the Army Cadets, where she learned survival skills like blending into surroundings and moving silently (perfect for sneaky nature adventures!).
