Meet Rich – Our Superstar Childcare Assistant at Pouncing Panthers!

Rich joined the Pouncing Panthers family in April 2024, bringing with him a huge passion for working with children and a knack for creating fun, safe, and memorable experiences. With 16 years’ experience as a Geography teacher, Rich knows just how to keep kids engaged, active, and having a blast — all while making sure they feel supported and confident.

So why Pouncing Panthers? Rich says it’s the perfect balance of fun and structure: “I love helping children explore, make friends, and feel confident, all while being part of a safe and exciting environment. That’s exactly what Pouncing Panthers is all about!”

When he’s not planning adventures for our little Panthers, Rich is footballing, hiking, and exploring the great outdoors, sharing his love for movement and nature with the kids. He’s also always ready for a bit of dressing up and entertaining — anything to see a smile on the children’s faces.

Rich holds First Aid and Safeguarding certifications, and as a qualified teacher, he brings experience, creativity, and a whole lot of energy to the team. His colleagues describe him in three words: Funny, Messy, and Spectacular — and we couldn’t agree more!

Fun Facts About Rich:

• He’s actually best friends with Big Foot — though he admits Big Foot once captured him and hid him in a cave for over a year! Don’t worry, they’re tight now.
• His favourite activities at Pouncing Panthers? Football, dress-ups, and any adventure where kids can run, laugh, and have fun.
