Meet Alejandra!

Role: Childcare Assistant
Joined Pouncing Panthers: September 2025

Alejandra brings warmth, energy, and a big heart to the Pouncing Panthers team. Having followed PP for some time, she was inspired by the organisation’s commitment to high-quality childcare that supports busy families and creates a safe, nurturing space for children outside school hours. She was excited to become part of a team that truly values community and children’s wellbeing.

One of Alejandra’s favourite parts of working at PP is creating a happy, relaxed environment where children can unwind after a busy school day. She loves sharing her passions — whether that’s sports, arts and crafts, nature, or dancing — and especially enjoys that activities are shaped around the children’s interests rather than a strict curriculum.

Alejandra holds a degree in International Business Administration and has a wonderfully varied background, having worked in hospitality, banking, and for the past three years in education. Her childcare experience includes roles as an Accommodation Officer at an international English school, a primary school lunch supervisor, and a playworker in an after-school club, giving her a well-rounded and confident approach to caring for children.

She is Paediatric First Aid Level 3, Safeguarding Level 2, and Food Hygiene Level 2 certified. Calm, patient, and reliable, Alejandra supports children’s learning, wellbeing, and play with care and enthusiasm — and always with a smile.

• She originally wanted to be a forensic investigator
• She speaks Spanish and is amazing at Salsa dancing
